JeevanAxis (“we”, “our”, or “us”), acting as the Data Fiduciary, is built on a “Privacy-First” philosophy. We believe your data belongs to you alone. This policy explains how we handle your information in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Data We Collect

We follow the principle of Data Minimisation—we only collect what is strictly necessary to run the platform:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and optional mobile number used for your secure login and identity.
  • Demographic Data: Age, occupation, and location details (Country/City) to help us understand our user base and provide more relevant Life OS guidance.
  • Your Life Data (Encrypted): This includes your financial records, wellness logs, habits, and personal journal entries. Note: This data is encrypted and protected by Row-Level Security (RLS), meaning even our administrators cannot read your private reflections or financial details.
  • Technical Logs: Minimal usage patterns (e.g., app crashes or page load times) to ensure the platform remains stable and secure.

We process this data solely based on your explicit consent provided during sign-up.

2. Purpose of Processing

We use your data for one reason: to help you manage your life effectively. We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

  • Service Delivery: To calculate your financial health, track your habits, and generate your personal insights.
  • Security: To verify your identity and protect your account from unauthorised access.
  • Payments: To process your subscription securely via Razorpay (we never see or store your card details).
  • Communication: To send you essential security alerts or respond to your support requests.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in encrypted databases managed by Supabase (PostgreSQL). We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS/SSL).
  • Isolation: Row-Level Security (RLS) ensures that only you can access your personal data.
  • Access Control: Strict internal protocols to limit data access to essential automated processes only.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share data with trusted service providers essential for our operations:

  • Supabase: For cloud infrastructure and authentication.
  • Razorpay: For secure payment processing (we do not store credit card numbers).
  • Sentry: For real-time error tracking and application stability.

5. Your Rights (Data Principal Rights)

Under the DPDPA 2023, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data being processed.
  • Right to Correction/Erasure: Correct inaccuracies or request the deletion of your data.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time, which may result in the termination of services.
  • Right to Nominate: You may nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active or as required by law. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days, except for anonymised data used for audit logs.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to improve your experience on JeevanAxis:

  • Essential Cookies: Necessary for authentication and secure session management.
  • Analytics Cookies: We use internal analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the platform. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

You can manage your cookie preferences through the Cookie Consent banner on our website or through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

While JeevanAxis is designed for productivity and growth, we recognize that students under the age of 18 may wish to use the platform. In accordance with the DPDPA 2023, individuals under 18 years of age may only use JeevanAxis with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or lawful guardian.

If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has created an account without your consent, please contact us at khushi.mani1995@gmail.com. We will take immediate steps to obtain your consent or delete the account and associated data.

9. Grievance Redressal

If you have concerns regarding your data privacy or believe your rights have been violated, please contact our Grievance Officer:
